Julia Bayadinova

Julia Bayadinova, NP-PHC, MN, is a primary health care nurse practitioner specializing in Thromboembolism, serving both inpatients and outpatients at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton. Julia has 12 years of nursing experience, including medical/surgical, critical care, and dialysis. In 2014, Julia graduated from Ryerson University with a combined Master of Nursing and Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Program, and has since found her passion in Thromboembolism. She is currently in pursuit of a Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree at Post University in Denver, Colorado and is completing a thesis on the importance of patient education in patients with atrial fibrillation.

Lucie Lacasse
Lucie was the nurse specialist at the The Ottawa Regional Adult Bleeding Disorders Program in Ontario, Canada for over 30 years and has recently retired. She obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Ottawa. She had a special interest in aging and hemophilia and has presented on the subject nationally and internationally. She has also collaborated on several related projects nationally. She is looking forward to staying connected with the Bleeding Disorders community, and keep abreast of rapid evolution in treatment improvements in the field during her retirement.

Huw Rowswell
Huw qualified as a registered nurse in 1997 and previously worked in respiratory medicine, critical care and night practitioner before moving into thrombosis and haemostasis in 2010 as a specialist nurse later consultant nurse in thrombosis. He has published papers many thrombosis issues including on venous thrombosis outcome data, cancer associated thrombosis and outpatient PE management. He has presented these findings locally nationally and internationally and is the United Kingdom representative for the all China VTE nursing alliance and a member of the UK VTE exemplar network.
